Agronomist / Technical Manager

We are seeking  Agronomist/Technical Manager with strong expertise in agronomy, agronomic trials, regulatory registration, and technical support across seeds, pesticides, and fertilizers. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring that products meet agronomic and regulatory standards, while also supporting commercial teams and customers through technical knowledge, training, and field engagement initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in agronomy, agricultural field trials, product registration processes, and technical support, preferably within the seeds, crop protection, and fertilizer sectors. They will bring 5–7 years of relevant experience, coupled with strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills to support business growth and customer satisfaction.

Job Responsibilities

​

  • Oversee and manage field trials for seeds, pesticides, and fertilizers, ensuring compliance with national regulations and scientific standards.

  • Lead the registration process for new products by coordinating data collection, dossier preparation, and communication with regulatory authorities.

  • Plan and organize technical events, including field days, product demonstrations, and extension services to promote product understanding and adoption.

  •  Establish and maintain strong business relations with big farming projects(Greenhouses, Orchards) to promote direct sales of assortment to such customers. 

  • Provide ongoing technical support to the sales team, ensuring alignment between product performance and customer needs.

  • Collaborate with commercial teams to offer technical insights for new product introductions and market positioning.

  • Maintain up-to-date technical data and performance reports for all products, supporting decision-making and product strategy.

  • Foster strong working relationships with suppliers for the exchange of technical information and joint development efforts.

  • Track competitor activities and market developments to inform internal strategy and positioning.

  • Support supply chain and commercial planning by monitoring product demand and stock availability.

  • Support the importation process by dealing with regulatory and customs bodies.

Job Requirements

​

  • Bachelor’s degree in agriculture, Plant Protection, Agricultural Sciences, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 5–7 years of experience in technical advisory roles, agronomic trials and  product registration.

  • Hands-on experience with seeds, crop protection products, and fertilizers.

  • Proven ability to manage technical projects and regulatory submissions.

  • Experience in conducting field trials and developing trial protocols.

  • Fluency in English; Russian.

  • A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel frequently and work closely with field teams, suppliers, and regulatory entities.
