Security Guard

We are looking for a Security Guard for our partner HayPass who will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the premises, staff, and visitors. This includes monitoring access, conducting patrols, managing logistics support when required, and driving company vehicles when assigned. The role requires dynamic, reliable individuals capable of handling both security and operational support tasks.

HayPass is the company which entered into a public private partnership with the Armenian Government to implement the new biometric ID management infrastructure and ID card project. 

HayPass will then operate the infrastructure and deliver ID Services to the Citizen of Armenia (on behalf of the Ministry of Internal Affairs) for the next 11 years.

Working Hours/Shift Arrangement

The security service operates under 1, 2, or 3 shifts, depending on workload and operational needs.

 

Regular Operation:

One day shift during standard working hours.

 

Planned Coverage (Two-Shift Model):

Shift 1: 08:00 – 18:00

Shift 2: 10:00 – 20:00

These shifts overlap to ensure continuous coverage during peak operational periods.

 

Current Schedule:

The current arrangement provides 12-hour guarding coverage (08:00 – 20:00), with the flexibility to expand to multiple shifts as operations grow.

Applicants should note that regular operation is typically one day shift, but flexibility to cover extended or additional shifts is required when necessary.

Primary Responsibilities

• Monitor and control access to the facility, ensuring authorized entry only.

• Conduct regular patrols of the building, parking areas, and perimeter.

• Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or irregular activities.

• Maintain accurate records in the security logbook (visitors, incidents, patrols).

• Assist with emergency procedures, evacuation, or first-aid situations if required.

• Report maintenance or safety issues to the Manager.

• Support logistics operations, including deliveries, document transfers, and vehicle movements when requested.

• Drive company vehicles responsibly when needed.

• Ensure smooth coordination with staff, contractors, and service providers.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Mandatory: Valid driving license (Category B) and ability to operate company vehicles safely

• Physically fit, alert, and able to perform patrol and response duties effectively.

• Previous experience in facility security, protection, or logistics preferred.

• Dynamic, proactive personality able to handle multitasking between security and light logistics

• Knowledge of surveillance, access control, and emergency procedures.

• Strong sense of responsibility, integrity, and discipline.

• Communication and reporting skills

• Knowledge of Armenian

• Basic conversational English skills

• Uniform and identification badge will be provided.

• Site-specific training will be conducted before deployment.

• Occasional overtime or weekend shifts may be required during special operations or events.
