

IT Network Administrator
We are looking for an IT Network Administrator for our partner HayPass who will be responsible for
the design, implementation, monitoring, and security of an organization's network infrastructure across on-premises, virtualized, and containerized environments. This role requires hands-on expertise with advanced network security solutions such as F5, Fortinet, Palo Alto along with a strong understanding of multi-tier architectures, and ISO/IEC 27001 security standards. The IT Network Administrator ensures high availability, scalability, and security of IT systems while supporting daily operations and strategic infrastructure projects.

HayPass is the company which entered into public private partnership with the Armenian Government to implement the new biometric ID management infrastructure and ID card project.
HayPass will then operate the infrastructure and deliver ID Services to the Citizen of Armenia (on
behalf of the Ministry of Internal Affairs) for the next 11 years.

Primary Responsibilities
-
Setup, Configure and manage network infrastructure, including VLANs, subnets, routers, and firewalls.

Troubleshoot network connectivity issues, including DNS, DHCP, IP routing, and VPN configurations.

Administer and configure network security measures, such as firewalls and access control lists (ACLs).
-
Monitor network performance and ensure availability using tools like Nagios, Prometheus, and Grafana.
-
Implement network zoning and segmentation based on multi-tier application architecture.
-
Conduct regular network assessments, vulnerability scans, and hardening activities.
-
Maintain and optimize data center (DC) cabling, rack layouts, and physical network infrastructure.

Document network infrastructure, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures.
-
Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, network diagrams, and policies.
-
Collaborate with other teams (e.g., infrastructure admins) to ensure network performance is optimized.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).

3+ years of experience in network administration, routing and switching, and firewall management.

CompTIA Network+ or

Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
