

IT Support Technician
We are looking for a motivated and service-oriented IT Technician for our partner HayPass to support the daily IT activities of their office environment. The role is mainly to ensuring smooth functioning of end-user systems, maintaining IT infrastructure at a foundational level, and acting as the first line of administration & support for technical issues.

HayPass is the company which entered into public private partnership with the Armenian Government to implement the new biometric ID management infrastructure and ID card project.
HayPass will then operate the infrastructure and deliver ID Services to the Citizen of Armenia (on
behalf of the Ministry of Internal Affairs) for the next 11 years.

Main Technical Tasks

Provide first-level administration and support for desktops, laptops, printers, phones, and peripheral devices (installation, configuration, troubleshooting)

Perform basic network administration and support tasks regarding Wi-Fi, cabling checks, and network devices.

Administer user accounts and permissions in Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and other business applications

Manage operating system updates, antivirus scans, and patching for endpoints

Maintain IT inventory and assist with hardware replacements
​Main Functional Tasks

Act as the initial point of contact for all IT-related needs in the office

Support onboarding and offboarding processes (device preparation, access
provisioning, orientation)

Assist in implementing and enforcing IT policies (password security, access control,
acceptable use)

Coordinate with external IT support or service providers for advanced
troubleshooting or interventions

Ensure office IT documentation is up to date (asset lists, user guides, and standard
procedures)
​Competencies

Technical knowledge: Solid knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft 365, basic networking (IP, DNS, DHCP), and endpoint security

Problem-solving: Ability to troubleshoot hardware/software issues methodically and escalate when needed

Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to assist non- technical users effectively in both English and Armenian

Detail-oriented with good time management to handle multiple requests

Comfortable working both independently and in a fast-growing team

Discretion and reliability when dealing with user accounts, credentials, and
sensitive data
