Cybersecurity Analyst

We are looking for a Cybersecurity Analyst for our partner HayPass who is responsible to monitor, analyze, and respond to security incidents and threats. He/she will play a critical role in our incident detection and response strategy by analyzing logs, identifying anomalies, and investigating suspicious activity. This role requires a strong understanding of security operations, SIEM tools, and cyber threat intelligence

HayPass is the company which entered into public private partnership with the Armenian Government to implement the new biometric ID management infrastructure and ID card project.

HayPass will then operate the infrastructure and deliver ID Services to the Citizen of Armenia (on

behalf of the Ministry of Internal Affairs) for the next 11 years.

Primary Responsibilities

• Monitor security alerts and logs from SIEM and other monitoring tools. (e.g., Trellix EDR/SIEM, ePO).

• Investigate security incidents and provide incident response support.

• Analyze threat intelligence and correlate with internal systems for potential risks.

• Conduct vulnerability assessments and track remediation progress.

• Maintain and create playbooks and runbooks for common incident scenarios.

• Provide daily, weekly, and monthly reporting on security events and trends.

• Assist in phishing and malware investigations.

• Participate in red/blue team exercises and tabletop drills.

• Collaborate with IT teams to analyze traffic/logs from Wallix, Palo Alto, FortiGate, F5, and VPN logs and improve security controls.

• Contribute to user awareness training and phishing simulations.

Required Skills & Qualifications​

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Security, or related fields

• 1–3 years of experience in cybersecurity operations, SOC, or threat analysis.

• Familiarity with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, IBM QRadar, Elastic Stack).

• Experience analyzing logs from firewalls, proxies, endpoints, and other devices.

• Scripting/automation skills (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell) would be a plus

• Experience on tools such as: Nessus, Wireshark, Nmap, PowerShell, Bash, Group Policy

• Familiarity with security frameworks and standards (e.g. GDPR, ISO 27001, CIS, NIST).

• Certifications like CompTIA Security+, CySA+, or SSCP are a plus.
