JOB DESCRIPTION

​

YesEm is looking for a Chief Executive Officer with a proven track record in leadership, growth, and business development, particularly in the GovTech, FinTech, RegTech industries.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a CEO or COO of a tech company, as a collaborative leader who encourages innovation and autonomy while ensuring accountability and results-oriented management.

This role requires a visionary and strategic approach, the ability to inspire and motivate teams while driving the company towards its goals.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

​

• Develop, execute, and assess top business strategies that will boost company growth.

• Focus on hiring the core leadership team such as CTO, CFO, COO.

• Expand the team further to include functional managers and specialists in product development, sales, and customer support.

• Create a positive company culture through strong, inspirational leadership valuing integrity, innovation, and collaboration.

• Develop an initial business plan outlining market opportunities and key milestones.

• Make strategic and financial decisions that determine the trajectory of the company.

• Collaborate with the board of directors and other executives, managers, and employees to identify meaningful solutions.

• Adjust important procedures and policies by collaborating with the HR representatives and assessing current industry trends.

• Act as the key representative of the company in communicating important decisions to the Government, business stakeholders, and the public.

• Finalise the business plan and secure initial funding or investment to support growth initiatives.

• Launch the company's products or services in the market. Evaluate the effectiveness of the initial action plan and make adjustments based on market feedback and emerging opportunities.

• Manage the company’s overall development and ensure that general operations run seamlessly as departments accomplish established goals.

• Monitor budgets, resources, and procedures by working with cross-functional teams.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

​

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Finances. Advanced degrees such as MBA are highly desirable.

• Familiarity with regional regulatory compliance.

• At least 7 years of experience in a leadership position, preferably at the executive level.

• Experience both in local and global companies, with a strong emphasis on global exposure due to the nature of the business.

• Experience managing teams of 50+ people, with a track record of achieving organisational goals through effective leadership.

• Fluency in Armenian and English, both written and verbal.

• Having a strong personal brand, known for strategic thinking, integrity, and a strong track record of driving growth and innovation in the technology sector.

• A healthy culture pioneer with a deep belief in integrity, innovation, and collaboration, to promote a culture of continuous learning and adaptability to change.
