Accountant

We are looking for an Accountant for our partner HayPass who will support the Finance Department in ensuring accurate financial operations, proper document flow, and compliance with Armenian accounting and tax regulations.

The Accountant will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing payments and invoices, managing document flow, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards, tax requirements, and internal company policies.

HayPass is the company which entered into public private partnership with the Armenian Government to implement the new biometric ID management infrastructure and ID card project.

HayPass will then operate the infrastructure and deliver ID Services to the Citizen of Armenia (on

behalf of the Ministry of Internal Affairs) for the next 11 years.

Primary Responsibilities

 

​Accounting & Bookkeeping:

• Perform bookkeeping in the ArmSoft accounting system.\

• Control and record company expenses.

• Maintain the fixed assets registry.

• Keep and update salary records.

 

Payments & Invoicing:

• Prepare and process payments.

• Verify and reconcile invoices.

• Manage the Tax Online Invoicing Platform.

 

Document Flow & Compliance:

• Maintain document flow.

• Ensure tax and accounting compliance.

 

Customs & Imports:

• Participate in customs clearance for imported goods.

 

Support & Reporting:

• Assist the Finance Manager.

• Cooperate with auditors and authorities.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• ​Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.

• Minimum 3 years of experience.

• Knowledge of ArmSoft.

• Strong knowledge of Excel.

• Attention to detail.

• Organizational skills.

• Effective communication skills.

• Fluency and working proficiency in Armenian and English.​​
